We stayed in this lovely condo while visiting Philadelphia for our son's wedding. There were 6 of us and the accommodations were perfect. The condo has great views of the city and the location worked well for us. When I called Steve to say that our coffee pot was broken and that we could use another blanket, he showed up that day with brand new replacements. Since we were busy, with the wedding, the whole time we were in Philly, we really didn't dine out much, but I can recommend two restaurants within walking distance of the condo: We had a wonderful dinner at the Italian Osteria and a great breakfast at Sabrina's Cafe. There are many other dining spots nearby. This is a great place to stay in Philly. Utilizing the available parking spot was very convenient. We would stay here again. Thank you Steven and Ann for being great hosts.
My husband and I booked this condo however a few days prior to our trip, we were notified by the hosts/owners that the building had a pipe burst given the frigid weather. We were informed that we would be moved into an alternative condo, which was closer to the Convention Center than the original one. We were a little nervous but felt so comfortable with Steve thus far with email exchanges that we thought we would go for it. When Steve picked us up from the airport, he was timely, friendly, and very helpful with regards to the city. The condo was not listed as he had not yet had a chance to do so but it was on Arch Street. Such a beautiful, comfortable condo. The doorman was always very friendly. It was within walking distance to a liquor store and market. If we travel to Philidelphia again, we will certainly look for U R Home in Philly owners again. A GREAT experience! You will not be disappointed. 2 thumbs up!
