About our Hip Homes

Q: How much bigger is a UrHip Home than a hotel room?

A: On average, UrHip homes are more than twice or three times the size of a hotel room. 170 sq ft vs. 725 UrHip sq ft.

 

Q: Do I have to pay the hotel tax?

A: If you stay with UrHip 30 days or more, you do not have to pay the hotel tax of 16.5%.

 

Q: What amenities does my UrHip home come with?

A: All UrHip homes come with amenities such as washers and dryers, DVD players, flat screen TVs (in living and master bedroom), full kitchens with essential equipment including cookware, wine glasses and opener, mixing bowls and spoons, colander, graters and much more. Click here to see more.

 

Q: What’s in the area?

A: Each UrHip home comes with a custom HipGuide where we recommend the best restaurants, supermarkets, nail salons, barbers, sports bars and lots of tips along the way.

 

Q: Is there a fitness center?

A: Yep. Your stay with UrHip includes a complimentary guest membership to the Sporting Club at the Bellevue located in Center City Philadelphia Map . Ninety three thousand sq ft of activity and fun including a 25 meter swimming pool, indoor running track, basketball, squash and racquetball courts, boxing gym, steam room, sauna, whirlpool and more.

 

Q: Is there high-speed Internet and/or cable TV?  What about utilities?

A: Yep. Each UrHip home includes extended cable, Internet (yes, it’s high speed) and all utilities. Wireless Internet information is located in the Welcome Binder and also under the router.

 

Q: Do I have to bring or buy hangers?

A: Nope. We supply all our UrHip closets with GOOD wooden hangers so you don’t have to worry about pointed shoulders.

 

Q: What about my laundry?

A: Every UrHip home has its own washer and dryer and full kitchen, giving you the convenience of truly being at home.

 

Q: Is there a wine opener and a blender?

A: Yep. Every UrHip home has a fully equipped kitchen. So bring on the smoothies.

 

Q: How nice are the apartments homes?

A: Every UrHip home is hand selected for its comfort, beauty, and prestige. This is why they all have high ceilings and expansive windows so you’ll feel the sun on your face each morning and have the space you need to really relax in full luxury.

 

Q: Will someone come over and replace the light bulb in the oven if we need one?

A: Yep. We are here to serve. Just call us or complete the maintenance request form and let us know what you need. From light bulb replacement to clogged lint, we are here for you.

 

Q: I’m a non-smoker. I don’t want any home that smells like smoke. Can you help?

A: Yep. We have all smoke free apartments.

 

Q: Do you take pets?

A: Yep. We have pet-friendly apartments.

 

VIP Services

Q: Will someone from the apartment pick us up at the airport?

A: Yep. UrHip will pick you up from the airport, train station, bus station, or grandma’s house. We’ll even give you a quick tour of the area your furnished apartment is in and … help you with your bags.

 

Q: Can we get housekeeping services?

A: Yep. Housekeeping for your UrHip home is available. Ask us about this additional service for your next UrHip stay. If housekeeping service was ordered with your reservation, the schedule days are Monday through Saturday. You can also call us at (800) 913-9484 to schedule housekeeping services.

 

Q: Will I have a mailbox?

A: Yep. Your mailbox will be located in the Main Lobby by the Concierge Desk.

 

Q: Can we get additional storage space if we need it?

Q: I may have family or additional visitors from time to time. Can you help us find them a place too?
